About
I build and ship software solo. Study Surfers, my LLM-powered iOS study app, has passed 2,250 downloads.
I'm a self-taught engineer with a degree in psychology. I came to AI through how people reason and misreason, not through a computer-science track, and I think that is why my work looks the way it does: I studied how people think before I built things that think alongside them.
The throughline across everything I make is what I'd call cognitive security. People align to organizations, and organizations compete to align people, so the strongest aligner wins. The defense is making the individual strong: own your data and the model of yourself, keep provenance, and refuse confident guesses. I build tools that make a person harder to manipulate, starting with owning the model of yourself.
Footnote is that thesis as software: your memory, on your device, as plain markdown, with a citation for every claim it holds about you. It refuses to guess rather than make something up.
By day I'm a BDR at C3 AI; the building above is the work I care about.
Everything here is checkable: code on GitHub, and Study Surfers on the App Store.
